Troop 435
Back in 1983, two individuals that were scouts as youth realized that the Ringle area was missing something, a boy scout troop. Together they started Troop 435. They stayed active and continued to have a positive impact on area youth for years to come. Now, 37 years later, Troop 435 continues this strong tradition as being an active troop in the Samoset Council.
Currently, Troop 435 has a membership of 45 youth that reside in Weston, Schofield, Ringle and the surrounding area.
We strive to be active in the outdoors and always participate in all area council outings including summer camp having 38 scouts that attended summer camp at the Crystal Lake Scout Reservation, near Rhinelander, WI. We work on our scout skills at the St Therese Gym in Rothschild and our Chartered Organization's building at the Weston Hit and Miss Trap Club. All in all, we have an active youth led troop that not only embraces the aims of scouting but has a fun time doing it! Come check us out........
